How Struggle Over Jonathan Caused Rift Between Stella Oduah And Deziani Allison Madueke...

They came from different backgrounds. One was happily married, while the other was having problems in her marriage. The problems were to later crystallize into separation. Even then both had their own strengths. While one was directly related to the President through his second wife(a story for another  day), the other proved to be an administrative colossus with the way she managed the President’s campaign finances. It was no surprise that Goodluck Jonathan decided that the two of them have to be in his cabinet and they were both given juicy posts.
But those who know them agreed that they have always been there, conscious of the fact that the man at the helm of affairs is at their whim and so they try to outwit each other in a bid to show loyalty. It was like the case of two women struggling for the heart of one man, trying as much as possible to outwit each other. Cabinet sources confirmed that the two were hardly seen together even as cabinet members chat. If at all anything brought them together, it was brief and snap, not too relaxing or accommodating. They were surely not the best of friends. A couple of times when one had the opportunity of shooting down the other’s ideas, they did not spare each other. Despite all these they tried to keep the whole thing under wraps so that the enemies of the Villa would not feast on it.
When Stella Oduah started having problems over the issue of bullet proof cars, tried as much as some aides did, they were not able to convince her it did not have the hands of Deziani Allison Madueke. Obviously, some aides who were eager to play upon her own assumptions fueled this. From then, she saw the Petroleum Resources Minister as her enemy, she came to believe that Deziani wanted her out of the cabinet and was fuelling the anti Oduah campaign despite the millions she had spent on killing the scandals she had in the media.
Eventually, the President sacrificed Stella Oduah and she was not happy. She was not happy that she had to go, after all she was not the only one that has broken laws. The façade of a sack was only a cover up to those who are not insiders to the Ministry. Stella Oduah is still the Minister, she still pulls the strings and decides who gets what. But she is not satisfied with this.
Abujareporter.com gathered authoritatively that the former Minister of Aviation is not satisfied even though she is believed to still be indirectly in control of the ministry. She was said to have singlehandedly picked the new heads of parastatals who were recently appointed in the ministry. After their appointment she called them to a meeting in her house to tell them that nothing had changed and that she  is still in control. Yet, she is not satisfied.
And since she saw the hands of her number one enemy in the uproar that led to her removal, she is also set on taking her own pound of flesh. Authoritative sources gathered that a lot of information that has been passed to some quarters over hiring of private jets by the Petroleum Resources Minister have been traced to her estranged former colleague in the cabinet. It was gathered that more damning information on her also being compiled all in a bid to ensure that Deziani Allison Madueke is also given the boot. According to sources, even though some of these facts are true, it is only insiders in the aviation sector who are privy to some of the details and documents that can easily reveal them the way they are being churned out.
As it stands, the Nigerian media as well as the masses are the better for it, they are the ones enjoying the scoops being reeled out day by day as a result of the fight over who should be closer to the President between the two women, but the President, whose heart they are both fighting for, is not enjoying the mudslinging at all.
