BUDGET PADDING LATEST: YAHAYA GUSAU, SACKED DG BUDGET UNDER HOUSE ARREST...

There are growing reports that the sacked former Director General of the Budget Office, Alhaji Yahaya Gusau and two other Directors in the office have been placed under house arrest.
Also, three other Directors in the Federal Ministry of Budget and Planning have been placed under house arrest by the Department of Security Service, DSS and operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC over their alleged role in the controversial padding of the 2016 appropriation document.

Chizoba Mojekwu ran the Central Bank 's Human Resources department like her own personal fiefdom. She was alleged to have collected money running into millions for training abroad, claiming that she would attend about twenty training courses. She never attended more than five. Rather, she pocketed the money.
