Her main focus is simple, to improve the lives of women, children and police spouses in local communities through empowerment, education and engagement.
With a first degree in Civil Engineering from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a Master’s degree in Construction Engineering, University of Loughborough, United Kingdom, she is the External Relations Manager of an oil and gas company.

SHEHU SANI ASKS SULTAN TO SPEARHEAD SEARCH FOR MISSING GIRLS...

A Northern-based human rights activist and President of Civil Rights Congress of Nigeria, Mallam Shehu Sani, on Tuesday asked the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar III, to spearhead the search for the release of the abducted schoolgirls of Government Secondary School, Borno State by members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect.
Sani, in a letter to the Sultan of Sokoto and made available to our correspondent in Kaduna on Tuesday, said in order to avoid the hovering drones, the Sultan had the moral burden to go beyond the mere pronouncements on the missing schoolgirls and act for the safe release of the girls.

Female banker defrauds Kano Emir, appears in court

A Kano State High Court yesterday fixed June 12 for the arraignment of a female banker, Amina Magaji, for allegedly defrauding the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero. Magaji, who was accused of forging 25 bank cheque leaflets belonging to the emir, sometimes last month, was apprehended by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The defence counsel, Mr Tajuddeen Funsho, urged the court to adjourn the matter in compliance with the Kano State Criminal Procedure Practice Direction, which provides days for the accused to hear charges before proper arraignment in court.

According to very dependable sources, the influential oil merchant who is believed to be very close to influential Petroleum Resources minister, Deziani Allison Madueke is down with stroke and was recently flown abroad. Prior to the ailment, there was a reported story of his having some other health complications.
Abujareporter.com reliably gathered that the recent health complications occurred over the issue of some huge missing money which he was believed to have known quite a lot about. It was gathered that at some point sometimes between the end of March and early April, he was invited to the Presidency where he was tongue- lashed over his roles. Sources gathered that at a point he even broke down when the dressing down was going on. Since then his health crisis seemed to have increased to the point that he could no longer talk very well.
