The nanny who beat an 18 year old to near death has explained why she did it. Jolly Tumuhiirwe who is presently awaiting trial in Luzira prison,told Ugandaonline.net

“My dad in Kabale was very sick and my mom did not have any money. I asked my bosses for some money to send to my dad but they told me that I hadn’t made a month yet and my father was dying, so it kept on haunting me. That is the
more reason I referred the anger to the baby but I’m sorry.

Kano Blasts: Jonathan To Launch Investigation...

 

In a statement released by Reuben Abati, the presidential spokesperson, President Goodluck Jonathan extends heartfelt condolences to the people and Government of Kano State over the heinous attack on the Central Mosque in Kano, earlier today, November 28, 2014.
The President commiserates with all the families who lost their loved ones. He calls on relief agencies and medical personnel to deploy every possible effort to assist the injured, and the general public to heed the call for the donation of blood by the hospitals where the injured are being treated.

According to Abati, the head of the country has further directed the security agencies to launch a full-scale investigation and to leave no stone unturned until all agents of terror undermining the right of every citizen to life and dignity, are tracked down and brought to justice.

A woman from Okpoko, Ogbaru LGA, Anambra State, dumped her one-day-old baby into the toilet.The news broke out on Thursday, November 27, and came as a shock for the community residents, Nigerian Tribune reports.

According to the reports, the housewife used to have a protruded stomach thus nobody was aware that she was pregnant.
Upon the delivery, the woman has allegedly dumped the newborn baby into the toilet. She was reportedly scared that the child could disturb her business.

The whole flight was waiting on one of those buses that ferries passengers from the gate to the plane. Kanye and his assistant boarded in a huff.’The assistant sprinted to the bus from the gate with all of the travel documents, while Kanye walked casually behind him.
