The wife of the Kebbi State governor and Chairperson MALLPAI foundation Hajiya Aisha Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, today donated food and clothing items to a family of two blind parents and seven children at Gesse Area of Birnin Kebbi and also offered their seven children scholarship.
The news of the desperate situation the family was in, reached the Governor's Wife who immediately visited the family this evening.
In her remarks while presenting the items to the family, Hajiya Aisha Bagudu said it is the duty of the well to do individuals in the society to assist the needy and come to their aid whenever the need arises. She said offering Scholarship to the Children will help mould their future and also help in making them useful members of the society. Members of the family who were overwhelmed with joy, thanked the Governor's Wife and prayed for the success of the Bagudu administration.
