Ex Justice Minister loses 200mil to fake EFCC officials...

Image result for EFCC officials

This is the story of a former Justice Minister who we gathered has a case to answer before the EFCC on account of some deals which took place under his watch. Reports indicated that the Kogi born former Attorney General of the Federation was a few days back swindled by a group of young men who posed as operatives of the EFCC. It was disclosed that the men had gone to his house located somewhere in Asokoro austensibly to pick him up. Their real mission according to the guys' friends was to see what they could extort from him. They were said to have dressed as EFCC officials, brandished identity cards which were not EFCC IDs and went ahead to enter his house telling him he was under arrest and immediately seizing his phones in order to prevent him from making calls. Thinking they were from the EFCC, he pleaded that they should allow him to escape and that he would give them some money.
Obviously, that was the targets of his captors who wanted to catch in on his being on the watchlist of the anti- corruption body. He negotiated his way to freedom with 200million Naira cash after which he also disappeared as soon as his accusers also disappeared into thin air.
Abujareporters.com gathered that since then, neither the former minister nor the young guys who staged him have been seen as both sides have escaped fearing the long arm of the law.
