Jonathan’s reelection and law

President Goodluck Jonathan
It is most preposterous and ridiculous for anybody to think or even go to court to prevent President Goodluck Jonathan from seeking a re-election in 2015 on account of being sworn-in twice previously.
The 1999 constitution of Nigeria as amended is very clear. The same constitution also guarantees the President an inalienable right to seek a second term in office.
However, Nigerians would decide and redefine a new era by the very dictates of the 2015 presidential election which is most likely to be won by an even-headed candidate.

It is not easy to lead in a complex society with diverse cultural and ethnic entities like Nigeria. I am ashamed for the type of reprehensible and irresponsible politics some people play.
It is disgusting to have resorted to personality abuses and insults. Nigerians should beware of empty and deceitful promises from these political scoundrels, whose ultimate desire is to keep up with their thieving prowess.
I wish that successive administrations had done better, other than greed and avarice via corruption which is the bane of our society today.
Now that there is a paradigm shift, we ought to appreciate and vote better. Politicians at all levels should eschew violence, hatred, bitterness, abuse of personality and think about Nigeria first. Because, no matter the number of presidential contenders, only one person will emerge or win at the end of the day.
