Apologises to other estranged wife, Tokunbo
One of the biggest stories in the gossip circles in the last couple of days is the alleged breakdown of the second marriage of Dino Melaiye, former Honourable member and a Senatorial aspirant on the platform of the APC. Dino who remarried sometimes late last year to Alero after his former wife, Tokunbo had sued for divorce over issues of battery and assault celebrated the marriage in the social media.
Aliero, who is believed to be about five months pregnant moved out of Dino Melaiye’s home last week alleging the same abusive treatments that Dino gave his former wife. Curiously, according to information available to us, Aliero got across to Tokunbo Fabiyi, Dino’s estranged wife and told her that she could not cope again. According to her ‘ I lived your hell for six months and I almost died of pains. You have suffered 11 years with a crude nonchalant selfish bully, I too became indifferent but the bullying I can never ever tolerate from any man. I know the man is always captain in any relationship but when it becomes master-servant situation, I cant cope or be indifferent. I need to check-out fast. I hoped he would change cos I did love Dino once upon a time. Instead, he got worse and worse. His family are too timid and frightened to correct him. For me, its better to be alone than unhappy’. [sic].
The lady also revealed to Tokunbo how Dino had allegedly been brainwashing their kids who are with him. She revealed further that she was sorry she lied that she had known Dino for over four years whereas she only got to know Dino around June last year. She claimed she was also played by Dino into lying about the length of their relationship. Revealing the reasons behind her moving out she complained of several abuses and that Dino locked her up in the house that she cannot go out at the slightest pretext and on this last occasion even beat up her car hire driver who drives her round town.
Dino Melaiye’s wife came out last year through her sister to state how over the twelve years they were together that she never experience peace but beatings and lock-ups as her husband beat her up at the slightest provocation. Their divorce case is still in court as the lady in question only refiled the case demanding half of what Dino Melaiye has as alimony. He was in the House of Representatives representing Ijumu Kabba Federal Constituency for two terms but was denied a second term only for him to dump the PDP ad since then he has been with the opposition. He is believed to be eyeing return to the Senate this time. Indeed, he has branded some of his vehicle he hopes to use for the campaign to take the seat that Senator Smart Adeyemi presently occupies.
