project has started in earnest and she is leaving no stone unturned to ensure

hijack the Kwara state PDP political machinery by posing as the new leader of
the PDP in the state is tailored towards achieving this objective apart from

also gathered that the ultimate aim of the KONICA films boss is to ensure that
her son becomes the governor of the state come 2019. She has shared this ambition
with a few close confidants who have told her that with her closeness to the
powers that be in the Villa as well as her financial prowess.
Bola
Shagaya for the past twenty years or so has been a constant face in the Presidency
as she has a way of always warming herself up to the wives of the various
leaders the country has had since the days of the Babangidas. She was so close to
the former military President’s wife that many thought that she would not be
able to fit in after the IBBs left office but she found her way into the life
of the Abachas and was there with them till the end, dumping the Babangidas
once they were out of office. Again, she was to dump the Abachas and adopt
Stella Obasanjo when the latter’s husband was in power. After Stella died and
Obasanjo left office, she was the man Friday to the wife of late Umoru Musa Yar
Adua, Turai. Indeed, they were so close that you would think she had known them
from their days in Katsina Government House. Once, Umaru Musa Yar Adua died,
her allegiance moved from Turai, who was not in good terms with her successor to
Patience Jonathan who sees her as the best friend she ever had. Till date, the
two remain very close though there have been insinuations that they have had
serious clashes of interests over businesses as well as some deals that were
done when Patience was on her sick bed sometimes last year.
You
hardly see Patience at any public function without Bola Shagaya beside her and
she never fails to acknowledge her bossom friend. It is this friendship she
wants to capitalize on by turning herself into a kingmaker in Kwara state where
she married her first wife. Muina Bola Shagaya might however face a brick wall
as Kwara people are still battling to remove the rope that the Sarakis threw around
their neck for years which has seen them dominate the state politics for more
than twenty years.
